A full awareness of environmental concerns ha always represented a high priority at SIMS since the '70s.

In 1974 we have introduced in the Reggello plant one of the first process water treatment plant within the italian industry.

In 1996 we have inaugurated a state of the art thermo destructor for the treatment of liquid and gaseous effluents.

Criogenic system:
the cryiogenic system with liquid nitrogen treat the chlorurated solvents that cannot be handled by thermic disposal.
Gassed nitrogen is reutilized as inertization gas.
